What our customers say

Skipsea Sands is located, as the name suggests, in the village of Skipsea. It's around a 15 minute drive south of Bridlington and less than 10 minutes from Hornsea - over-looking Ulrome beach. On the park itself there is a leisure facility with a large heated indoor swimming pool - there's a part you can swim lengths in and a shallow area for the kids to do some splashing around.

Beside the pool there's a sauna and steam room - or if you just fancy a drink and a bite to eat while the little ones are swimming there's an eating area overlooking the lifeguarded pool.

Skipsea sands is a lovely balance of action and quiet - If you want to enjoy the facilities there's a number of bars, arcade area, coffee shop , pool tables, teen lounge, bowling, Wifi internet and kids clubs for the little ones, but if you're more into having a peaceful time, then there's some lovely walks, local golf courses, an on-site fishing lake, designated dog walking areas and even a historic church and castle in the village itself. There's a small shop on the park for essentials and larger supermarkets slightly further afield and if you fancy a break from the park there's some lovely local pubs and a great fish and chip shop just a couple of miles away.

The park has very good security 24 hours a day. A five minute walk from the caravan is the outdoor play area with swings, slides, climbing frames, etc. Although it's unsupervised we feel confident allowing the kids to play in the park by themselves. We know the park wardens and security guards who all say they've not known any crime on the park at all. As caravan owners you're entitled to ID passes to access the facilities, these are free of charge for you and your family - although there may be a maximum number but we can check with the park if you'd like.
